Anti-Cheating Software Developed by CogniSafe
With online poker generating millions upon millions of dollars for poker players to win, naturally there is always going to be some unscrupulous characters in the world that try to cheat their way to get some of the pie. As many of us already know, there have been some cases already in online poker about super users. Absolute poker is the best example of exactly how things can go wrong when online gambling is involved.
Last Tuesday we witnessed the launching of CognifSafe’s anti-cheating software. This software development company are claiming that their software can detect online cheating and fraud in real time. The software called PitBoss can stop hacking, bots, collusion and insider information. CogniSafe is also adamant that had their software already been in existence that it would have been able to stop previous attacks and scams.
Chief Technical Officer Shmuel Konfoty had this to say about their program “We are excited to be able to offer a complete solution to online cheating that works across a large variety of game types. Whether gamers are playing card games such as poker, board games such as chess or almost any other form of game, we have a proven solution to any potential cheating scenario.”
It remains to be seen as to how many of the online poker rooms get onboard with this software and if it does everything they say it can. If it really is all they say it is, it can only have a positive impact on the industry. The added security it will give both players and operators will be a major step forward for the online gambling industry as a whole.
