Bodog Poker Sponsoring Poker In The Park
Bodog Poker has annonced that they will be the official sponsors of this year’s Poker In The Park.
One of the largest live poker festivals in all of Europe, Poker In The Park 2010 will be taking place September 2 & 3 in Leicester Square in London, England.
Bodog.com will host one of the two Poker Domes there, in which the site will be hosting live 80-player Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments 24/7. Admission is totally free, and players (expected to exceed 20,000 this year) will be competing against one another live on space-age electronic poker tables.
Bodog Poker promises that in their typical Bodog manner, attendees at the event can expect to see beautiful girls and various Bodog poker related free surprises.
At least some of those surprises, taking place right along with the non-stop Sit ‘n’ Gos, will be free poker strategy lectures and autograph signings by some of the best and most well-known poker players in the world, plus discounts on the latest poker books and other merchandise. And in addition to the poker celebrities showing up for the event, so will some non-poker celebrities, including Evander Holyfield, WBF World Champ, who will be giving free demonstrations of some state-of-the-art poker software.
In last year’s Poker In The Park ‘09, which took place in August 2009, free talks given by poker greats like 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Peter Eastgage (who has just recently announced retiring from PokerStars representation) and 2006 WSOP Main Event Champ Jamie Gold.
