FTOPS XIV Results: Pros Pham, Mueller Win Big

The 14th Full Tilt Online Poker Series is now over, closing out last night, Sunday Nov 15, with zhivago2 winning the $2.5 million FTOPS XIV main event. Right behind zhivago2 was the other huge winner at FTOPS XIV, obiedman, who took down the $2 million 2-day event which started just one day prior, on Saturday, Nov 14.

As usual, this round of the FTOPS boasted many events with $1 million plus guaranteed prize pools, six to be exact, the first being Event #1, held on Wednesday, Nov 4. The winner of the kick-off FTOPS XIV event was s00tedj0kers89. Next was Event 10, held Sunday, Nov 8 with a $322 buy-in, also with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, which saw Jakivi taking the crown. The two $1.5 million events came next, with Event 12, a six-max event with a $1,000 buy-in, held on Monday, Nov 9 and won by omadjoped; and Event 17, another six-max event, this time also a rebuy event, also with a $322 buy-in, this time with gametime1111 taking top prize.

In poker pro news at FTOPS XIV, meanwhile, just after hosting the NL Holdem 4x shootout/6-max event on Tuesday November 10, David Pham turns around and wins the $535 HORSE event (which has a $300,000 prize pool). The other poker pro to make a big showing at FTOPS XIV was Greg Mueller (or GregFBTMueller, on the site), who won the the $216 Limit Holdem 6-max event on Thursday, November 12, with a $150,000 prize pool, oddly enough the event that he hosted himself!
