Players Only & Sportsbook Poker Move To Merge
Sites on the Merge Gaming Network include Carbon Poker, Aced Poker, and Poker Nordica, Iron Duke, and Reefer Poker. And now there are two other names in online poker, gaming, and sportsbetting joining the network – and they’re particularly big and familiar ones at that. Players Only (PlayersOnly.com) and Sportsbook Poker are moving to the Merge Gaming Network from their soon-to-be-former network, the Cake Network (home of Cake Poker, among others). The move will take place by the middle of April this year, including the transferring of all player accounts to the Merge Network.
According to one online poker statistics site, the Merge Network gets a 7-day average of 245 players on the network’s various sites, though at peak times more like 500 players can be found on Merge sites at once. The network is surely hoping that adding Sportsbook Poker and Players Only to their roster will pump up those numbers (some say as much as by 4 or 5 times).
Says Merge Gaming CEO Anthony Taylor: “We are delighted to sign such an established partner to the network, it’s through our great software and superior backend we are able to attract a group of this size.”
The Players Only and Sportsbook Poker players can hope to benefit from Merge’s innovative features, generous player loyalty program, and better general playability. Last week, Poker Fantasy also moved to Merge.
Merge Gaming accepts players from the U.S., as does PlayersOnly and SportsbookPoker’s former network, the Cake Poker Network, that features sites like Doyles Room, Stryyke, Poker Host, and Lock Poker.
