Poker Stars Ring Game Blinds Minimums Change
Poker Stars has just informed cash ring game players that there will be some changes in store for them the next time they log in to play a cash game online. Poker Stars has changed the minimum number of blinds that players are required to have in order to sit down at any given table.
For these purposes, PokerStars has divided their tables into three basic stakes levels, and the minimum blinds to sit in changes with each level. So for the deep stackers at the highest levels, that’s a 100 big blind minimum. In the middle level the minimum to sit in is 40 big blinds. And at the lowest level the minimum is 20 big blinds.
If players don’t select a specific amount of big blinds to bring in with them with they sit down, then Poker Stars has a default value set. For high stakes, it’s 200 big blinds, for the middle stakes it’s 80 big blinds, and for the low stakes it’s 40.
It will be easier to identify the cash ring game tables with the stakes you’re seeking in the PokerStars lobby because these big blind ranges will be listed beside each table’s name.
Players at PokerStars cash ring game tables will also now have to wait 60 minutes after leaving any given table before being allowed to return to that same one, though as always you’re welcome to sit in at any other table at any time with no waiting period after leaving a table.
