PokerStars Rolls Out Luxury Ladies Poker Club, Just In Time For EPT Grand Final
PokerStars is nothing if not innovative and with the times, and with the massive influx of women in the poker arena, online and off, over recent years, there’s no better indication of PokerStars commitment to progress than its latest innovation—the Luxury Ladies Poker Club.
Literally an online poker opportunity for female players online, the PokerStars Luxury Ladies Poker Club is built of numerous freeroll tournaments, Step tournaments, and satellite tournaments, all leading up to a huge prize package that includes a seat in this 2010 season’s European Poker Tour Monte Carlo Grand Final.
Ladies Only freerolls are running daily at PokerStars, now through April 18. These daily freerolls seed winners into a weekly final tournament in which at least one European Poker Tour Luxury Ladies Poker Club prize package will be awarded.
The EPT Monte Carlo prize package also includes the €1,100 buy-in to the EPT Grand Final Ladies Tournament as well as admission into PokerStars poker pro Vanessa Rousso’s poker boot camp for ladies. Winners will also get 5 nights accommodations, travel money, and some stylish poker apparel to wear around during the festivities. All told, the EPT Luxury Ladies Poker Club prize package is valued at €3,500.
If a male player manages to sneak his way into these online satellites and wins, PokerStars will disqualify him from the competition and award his prize to the next female player in line. A player’s prize package is non-transferrable, in other words, should any male player consider entering the competition in the hopes of winning a prize to give to the woman in his life. Alas, it must be the woman herself who wins the 2010 European Poker Tour Luxury Ladies Poker Club prize package.
