WSOP Champ Jamie Gold Joins Aced.com
Aced.com has just announced that former 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jamie Gold has joined Aced Poker. Jamie is now officially part of team Aced and will play exclusively at Aced Poker under the handle ‘JamieGold’.
This is big news for the fledgling poker site with a lot to prove. Aced.com has started out of the gate strong since breaking onto the online poker scene in mid-2008. Aced.com has quickly established itself as one of the the best poker sites on the Merge Gaming poker network.
With the signing of Jamie Gold, you can expect to see him at the tables along with some of his famous poker player friends. Gold holds the record for the largest poker tournament win ever when he won $13 million in the 2006 WSOP Main Event, the biggest Main Event in history with 6,883 players. Jamie also is the record holder for the all time leading World Series of Poker money winner.
Jamie is most well known for his WSOP Main Event win, but he is also a well known talent agent in Los Angeles, and he is an incredibly successful philanthropist, having raised over $110 million for charities in 2008 alone. Aced Poker has added some new ‘Outs’ to their fantastic ‘Outs’ player rewards program, including:
- Knock Jamie out of a MTT
- Beat Jamie in a heads up SNG
