Bodog Holds $15,000 Freeroll to Celebrate 15th Anniversary

Bodog is holding a $15,000 Freeroll poker tournament in celebration of its 15th anniversary.

Qualifiers into the freeroll, with buy-ins that range from $5 – $15, started September 21 and run for 15 days until October 5. Every event will be a different version of Texas Holdem – with re-buys, turbos, super-turbos 6-handed, no limit, fixed limit, and pot limit games, among others – and every event, including the October 8 semi-finals and the October 15 finals, will begin at precisely 15 after 8 pm ET.

There will also be a Leaderboard tracking player progress and awarding extra prizes, including free entry into the Thursday October 8 semi-final tournament for 16th through 115th place finishers, and seats in the October 15 finals for finishers in the top 15. In addition, the Leaderboard winner will gain free entry into the Bodog $100,000 Guaranteed tournament, with the remaining 14 players in the top 15gaining free entry into a qualifier for the Bodog Poker $100,000 Guaranteed tournament. Leaderboard points are awarded the same as with other Bodog Poker tournaments except that points will go to the top 30% of finishers.

Also given free entry into the $15,000 freeroll semifinals are all players who have competed in at least ten qualifying events.

The playing field for the October 15 $15,000 Freeroll finals will be:

* the top 15 placers in the semifinals
* placers 1 – 15 on the Leaderboard
* anyone who has competed in 15 qualifying tournaments

The Bodog Poker $100K Guaranteed, incidentally, is held every Sunday at 4 pm.
