Cake Poker Players Headed For English Poker Open
The English Poker Open is the newest major land-based poker tournament in the European poker circuit, and it’s fast-approaching, coming up on September 15-17. The main event features a guaranteed $1 million prize pool. Phil Hellmuth has already claimed his $5,300 seat. And Cake Poker is sending some of its players there to give it their best shot.
Cake Poker is running satellites now to compile the members of Team Cake who the site will send to merry olde England to compete in the main event. The satellite series runs as follows:
* Enter a $3.30 English Poker Open Semi-Qualifier R&A (rebuys and add-ons), running daily; on winner for every $55 in the prize pool will proceed to an English Poker Open Semi-Final
* Enter an $11 English Poker Open Satellite R&A, running daily; one winner for every $268 in the prize pool will proceed directly to an English Poker Open Final
* Enter an English Poker Open Semi-Final, running weekly on Sundays at 1 pm ET, by either winning your seat in an English Poker Open Semi-Qualifier or by paying the $55 buy-in; one winner for every $268 in the prize pool will proceed to an English Poker Open Final
* Enter an English Poker Open Final, running weekly on Sundays at 4 pm, by either winning your seat in an English Poker Open Satellite or by paying the $268 buy-in; one winner for every $7,000 in the prize pool will win a $7,000 English Poker Open Prize Package.
Side action at the English Poker Open will include Event #2: £560 No Limit Holdem, and Event #3: £280 No Limit Holdem.
