FTOPS XIV Begins Today

The Full Tilt Online Series 14 has started today. As in the past, the FTOPS XIV contains 25 events with a total guaranteed prize pool of $16 million this time around, culminating in the $2.5 million guaranteed main event (for which Full Tilt Poker satellites are still running now!).

We’ve mentioned a lot about this FTOPS to you lately, so let’s summarize the most salient details. Besides the regular 25 events of FTOPS XIV, Full Tilt Poker is also holding a series of related FTOPS XIV challenges: the Satellite Seat Challenge, the Hold’em Challenge, the Survivor Challenge, the Double-Up Challenge, the Zero to Hero Challenge, and the Million Dollar Challenge. Each of these has different requirements but all of them share the ease of entry – just participate in the FTOPS XIV events and you’re automatically vying for the cash and tournament seats and other FTOPS XIV Challenge prizes too.

And then there’s always the series and all-time Leaderboards, for total bragging rights.

The series lasts for 10 days, ending a week from this Saturday, on November 14. But that’s not quite the end of the 14th running Full Tilt’s most popular online poker series – because come December 9 – 20 is the Mini-FTOPS XIV with the same 25 events except at a lower buy-in – and with equivalently lower prizes, but still a $4 million total prize pool guaranteed. Not too shabby.

The starting event today is #1, a $1 million guaranteed NL Holdem 6-max tourney for a $216 buy-in. There are 6 events in FTOPS XIV in all with prize pools over $1 million. And satellites into these various events are still running now.
