Full Tilt Poker Announces FTOPS XVII & MiniFTOPS XVII

Full Tilt Poker has just announced the schedule for its next Full Tilt Online Poker Series, the FTOPS XVII, running between August 4 and August 15 and boasting a $19 million guaranteed prize pool. Also with this announcement, Full Tilt Poker released the schedule for its Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series, the MiniFTOPS XVII, running September 8 through September 19 and boasting a guaranteed prize pool of $6 million.

FTOPS XVII is comprised of 34 events, each of them hosted by one of the Full Tilt Pros. FTOPS XVII events include knockout events, shootout events, turbo events, and super turbo events. As always, there is the special high-roller’s two-day events, with the guaranteed prize pool this time around at $2 million. Then there’s the main event, with its $3 million guaranteed prize pool. The MiniFTOPS XVII is comprised of the same 34 events, only with 1/10th of the buy-in and a smaller guaranteed prize pool. But although the buy-ins for all the MiniFTOPS XVII events are only 10% of those of the larger FTOPS XVII, the MiniFTOPS XVII prize pools are a much larger percentage of their FTOPS XVII counterparts.

Leading up to the FTOPS XVII and MiniFTOPS XVII, Full Tilt Poker is hosting a full schedule of satellites into the various events. Players can even win more than one satellite for the same event and have all subsequent prizes beyond the first be awarded to them as Tournament Dollars that can then be applied toward buy-ins to other FTOPS XVII or MiniFTOPS XVII events.
