Full Tilt Poker FTOPS XVI Schedule Released
Full Tilt Poker’s next online series is coming up shortly, starting on April 23 and running through the main event on May 2, and this 16th go-round the FTOPS XVI schedule looks bigger and better than ever. There are 30 events in all in FTOPS XVI, rangingin from No Limit to Pot Limit to Fixed Limit games, from Hold’em to Omaha to HORSE. And this time around, there is an extra $1 million more in the total guaranteed prize pool, raising it from $17 million (like it was for FTOPS XV) to $18 million.
The climactic event of FTOPS XVI, the Sunday, May 2 main event, has a $640 direct buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $3 million.
Other highlight events of the FTOPS XVI schedule include:
- Event #12 on Monday, April 26, the $1,060 buy-in 6-max event with a $1.25 million guaranteed prize pool
- Event #18 on Wednesday, April 28, the $322 buy-in 6-max event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool
- Event #25 on Saturday, May 1, the $2,100 buy-in ante-from-the-start event with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool
- Event #28 on Sunday May 2, the $256 6-max knockout event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool
As you would expect, Full Tilt Poker is running satellites into the FTOPS XVI events as of now, and continuing daily up to and through the big series. And as you can see on the graphic accompanying this post, on May 7 the Mini-FTOPS XVI begins, for a $7 million guaranteed prize pool, making for a combined total prize pool guaranteed between FullTilt’s FTOPS XVI and MiniFTOPS XVI: $25 million.
