Full Tilt Poker Offers Entries Into Two 2010 WPT Events
Full Tilt Poker has teamed up with the World Poker Tour to offer online poker players a chance to win their way into one (or both) of two major WPT events: the 2010 LA Poker Classic and the 2010 Bay 101 Shooting Stars Championship. Both these events have a $10,000 prize for entry, and together they comprise two of the biggest and most popular stops on each season’s World Poker Tour circuit.
Every week from now until February 28 Full Tilt Poker is guaranteeing to give away at least 5 prize packages into these events, with the winners getting the prize package of their choice. Every Tuesday night at 9 pm ET a satellite will be held for a $300 + $22 buy-in, with 1 WPT prize package being awarded. Every Thursday night at the same time, a $1,000 + $60 satellite will be held, with 2 WPT prize packages being awarded, and every Sunday at 4:30 pm ET, a satellite for $500 + $35 will be held, with 2 more prize packages being awarded.
The LA Poker Classic starts February 26 and takes place, of course in Los Angeles, California, and in 2010 the guaranteed prize pool is sure to top last year’s $6.6 million.
The Bay 101 Shooting Stars Championship starts March 8 and takes place in San Jose, California. In 2009, the big $1 million winner was Full Tilt Poker’s own Steve Brecher.
Satellites into each week’s 3 major qualifiers run daily at Full Tilt, now until the end of the promotion, which you can enter for only $0.50 or 50 Full Tilt Points (FTPs).
