Full Tilt Poker Releases Dates For FTOPS XV

It’s official – the dates have been announced for the next installment in Full Tilt Poker biggest money online poker tournament. A semi-annual event, the Full Tilt Online Poker series has doled out millions of dollars to fortunate online poker players over the years, and between February 10 and 21 of 2010, it’ll do it again, with an exciting schedule of 27 online poker events, ranging from No Limit to Fixed Limit and Pot Limt, and ranging from Texas Hold’em to Omaha and Stud. The guaranteed prize pool for the FTOPS XV at $17 million.

Then there’s the MiniFTOPS, the favored follow-up to every FTOPS (they used to run it concurrently but no longer), the lowe cost cousin of the FTOPS, with the same 27 events, only with buy-ins at a fraction of the price (and prize pools to match).

The MiniFTOPS XV runs March 10 and March 21 of 2010, with its guaranteed prize pool at $6 million.

That brings the combined prize money being awarded in this winter/spring ’10 installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series to $23 million.

The Main Event of FTOPS XV takes place on February 21, starting at 5 pm. It has a buy-in of $535, but you can also win your way for a lot less (maybe for even nothing at all) by playing in Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS XV satellites, running daily. The prize pool for the FTOPS XV Main Event is a guaranteed $2.5 million.

The series kicks-off with a $1 million guaranteed event for a $216 buy-in on February 10 at 9 pm ET.
