Full Tilt Poker Rush Week Coming Up

Last week we brought you word of two big promotions coming up this hot month of July, 2010 over at Full Tilt Poker: Rush Week and The Big Little Tournaments. Today, we explore in greater depth the one coming up first, Rush Week, running from Monday July 12 to Sunday July 18.

Rush Poker is the new(ish) variant of online poker that Full Tilt Poker introduced earlier this year. What distinguishes Rush Poker from other forms of online poker is that it moves at a lightning pace because every time you decide to fold out of a hand, you are automatically moved to a different table where the action on a new hand is just starting. In a Rush Poker Tournament, when the player pool falls to below 30, the play becomes short-handed to keep things moving.

While you play in Rush Poker ring games and tournaments you earn Full Tilt Points just like you do at other Full Tilt tournaments and tables. For Rush Week, those FTPs can earn you a $250 cash bonus and entry into a freeroll tournament worth $50,000, the $50K Rush Week Freeroll.

Many of Full Tilt Poker’s regular guaranteed tournaments during Rush Week will be converted into Rush Tournaments to heighten the action.

To earn bonus cash during Rush Week you must earn at least 10 FTPs for at least 4 days of Rush Week. If you earn at least 100 or 1,000 instead, then your cash bonus goes up. It also goes up if you earn one of those points minimums for all seven days of rush week rather than just four days. Earn a minimum of 1,000 FTPs per day for each of the 7 days of Rush Week and win $250 cash.

Reach any final table in any Rush Poker Tournament during Rush Week and win a free entry into the $50K Rush Week Freeroll on July 25.
