Full Tilt Poker Series Espana Returns
Full Tilt Poker is bringing back its popular Espana series of poker for a second season. And with every major land-based live poker tour hosted by an online poker room comes its standard slew of satellite qualifiers into the events on the various stops along the respective tour’s route.
That route, for the 2010 Full Tilt Poker Series Espana, Season 2, is as follows:
• Gerona, April 25 – 27, at the Casino Castell de Peralada
• Malaga, June 4 – 6, at Casino Torrequebrada
• —pause for the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP)
• Madrid, August 27 – 29, at the Casino Gran
• Barcelona Grand Final, December 2 – 5, at the Gran Casino de Barcelona.
The satellite series for free entry into Full Tilt Poker Series Espana events involves qualifiers running thrice weekly for each event in succession (so right now, in other words, the current FTP Series Espana satellites are for the Gerona stop). The schedule for those satellites are: Tuesdays/Thursdays with a $216 buy-in and 3 Series Espana seats guaranteed, and Sundays with a $535 buy-in and 5 Series Espana seats guaranteed. All three weekly satellites start at 3:45 pm ET.
If you don’t want to pay the direct buy in, however, you can work your way up for much lower cost—say $5—via Full Tilt Poker Series Espana sub-satellites which run throughout each day on a daily basis. Each one guarantees at least one free entry will be awarded into one of the weekly Series Espana satellites.
