Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS XVII Starts This Wednesday
Full Tilt’s Poker’s FTOPS XVII, the next in line (17th, to be exact) of Full Tilt Online Poker Series’. This one promises a $19 million prize pool across 34 events spanning a dozen days, including a $2 million 2-day event and a $3 million main event. Each event will be hosted by one of Full Tilt’s Red Pro players and the winners of each event will win, in addition to the top share of the prize pool, a limited edition FTOPS XVII Jersey.
The opening event of FTOPS XVII, taking place Wednesday, August 4, is a $216 NL Hold’em event with a $750,000 guaranteed prize pool hosted by Huck Seed. That’s followed on Thursday, August 5 with 3 completely different types of events. There’ll be a $322 NO Hold’em 4x Shootout 6max Turbo with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool hosted by Daniele Mazzia and a $535 HORSE event with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool with an as yet unnamed Red Pro host. Preceding all that, there’ll be a $256 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Knockout Rush Tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, the first of several Rush Tournaments featured in this running of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series.
Six to be exact: six Rush Poker Tournaments on the FTOPS XVII schedule. Besides the aforementioned Event #2, there’s also Event #10, a $216 NH Hold’em Turbo Rush Tournament for $350,000 GTD; Event #15, a $322 Pot Limit Omaha Turbo Rush Tournament for $200,000 GTD; Event #21, a $216 No Limit Hold’em Rush Tournament for $250,000 GTD; Event #27, a $216 Limit Hold’em Rush Tournament for $150,000 GTD; and Event #33, a $163 No Limit Hold’em Rush Rebuy Tournament for $750,000.
