MiniFTOPS XVII Coming Up Sept 8

With the 17th Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or FTOPS XVII, wrapping up, awarding over $19 million across 34 events, players gear up for the lower stakes (but still high stakes) Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series, or MiniFTOPS XVII.

At the MiniFTOPS XVII players will enjoy the same schedule of 34 poker events as for the larger series, but to enter they will pay just one-tenth of the buy-in. The prize pool, however, is not one-tenth that of the larger series, but $6 million guaranteed.

The Full Tilt Poker MiniFTOPS XVII begins on Wednesday, September 8 and continues through the $1 million MiniFTOPS XVII Main Event on Sunday, September 17, which has a $70 + $5 buy-in. Other MiniFTOPS XVII to look for are the two day event, with a buy-in of $200 + $16 and a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool, and six different Rush Poker events (thereby catering both to the laid back and amped up poker players among us). There’s also an event with a $400K prize pool and two with a $300K prize pool.

All of these buy-ins can be avoided, however, by winning your MiniFTOPS XVII seat in a Full Tilt Poker online satellite tournament. Such qualifiers are running all the time, with satellites for every one of the 34 events on the schedule.
