Outlast the Pros at Poker Stars Team Pro Tuesdays

In the spirit of its old Outlast the Pro tournament promotion, Poker Stars is running, for the rest of December 2009, a similar promotion called Team PokerStars Tuesdays.

Every week now, December 8 – 29, all day and night each Tuesday, many of Team PokerStars Pro team players will be logging online to give amateur players like the rest of us a shot at taking them down.

Which pros exactly? Well, how about 2009 WSOP Main Event champ Joe Cada, for one. Or another of poker’s youngest rising stars, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier. Then there are the “old” stalwarts like Daniel Negreanu, Peter Eastgate, and Chris Moneymaker.

Where will they be playing exactly? How about everywhere on Poker Stars that you can imagine? They’ll be at the cash games, the Sit & Go’s, and the scheduled multi-table tournaments. And at all stakes too (so lower budget players can still get in on the fun).

Now, you can play against these pros on Team Pro Tuesdays, or you can simply watch, and even chat with the players from the rail.

In addition, and as an extra special part of Team Pro Tuesdays, will be two Outlast the Pro events, one each Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm ET and again those same Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET. For an $11 buy-in you’ll be competing both for the regular cash prizes awarded to all in-the-money finishers and a bonus of $1,000 divided amongst the remaining players left in the tournament after all the Team PokerStars Pros have been knocked out.
