Party Poker Begins Online Cash Game Championships

Starting on April 5, 2010, PartyPoker will be starting to hosting their new Online Cash Game Championships (OCGC), the premiere online cash game championship in the world. At the end of the all the 2010 PartyPoker OCGC trials is a prize pool of $250,000 to be doled out to the winners.

The PartyPoker Online Cash Game Championships will give everyday at home online poker players, from novice amateur to self-proclaimed pro alike, the opportunity to sit in at high-stakes cash games without having the high stakes bankroll to front.

The PartyPoker Online Cash Game Championships will be made up of seven different levels. At each stage, players will be required to play in at least 400 online cash game hands in any given day of the promotional period. At the end of each day, the players most successful over their best 400 hands of the day will move on to the May 7 final table.

Additional bonus cash prizes will also be added to the table stakes to increase the action throughout the PartyPoker 2010 OCGC promotional period. The first stage of the PartyPoker Online Cash Game Championships runs between April 5 and 9. The stakes at level 1 are $0.50/$1 and the game is, of course, No Limit Texas Holdem.

Remember, players have to play in at least 400 hands in any given day between April 5 and 9 to advance to stage 2, where the rewards and bonusmoney added to the pot increases, while the playing field decreases.
