Party Poker Introduces Tournament Leaderboard and Million Dollar Hand
Party Poker, which recently reintroduced the Monthly Million promotion, has now introduced yet another promotion, this one a series of interrelated Tournament Leaderboards with $30,000 in monthly awards on the line.
Players are eligible to earn points by playing in any Party Poker Sit & Go tournament or multi-table tournament. Leaderboard points and status will be tracked on both a monthly and a weekly basis, with prizes being awarded for excellence in both.What’s more, Leaderboards will be tracked independently for individual buy-in levels.
A week, for these purposes, is constituted as Monday at 0:00 am ET (that’s the stroke of midnight) through 11:59 pm ET (one minute to midnight) on Sunday. Each weekly PartyPoker Leaderboard winner will win $500 cash, deposited into their PartyPoker account, with one $500 weekly winner in the Sit & Go tournament category and one $500 weekly winner in the Multi-table tournament category.
The monthly period runs from midnight on the 1st of the month through one midnight before midnight on the last day of the month, with the Multi-table tournament monthly leaderboard winner getting $2,000 and the Sit & Go tournament monthly leaderboard winner getting $2,500.
Not wanting to leave its beloved cash game players out in the cold, Party Poker is also giving a millions of dollars each month to players who accumulate the most points in cash games. This Million Dollar Hand promotion starts October 5 and runs through October 30, so you have some time to practice. Players win prizes ranging from $3 for a pair to $1 million for a royal flush. Players are allowed to show two hands per day for a cash award.
