Party Poker Palladium Oktoberfest 2010 VIP Points Race
This summer Party Poker is getting ready for fall with a special VIP points race all the way to Munich, Germany for the 200th Oktoberfest. The Party Poker Palladium Oktoberfest Poker Race runs August 2 to August 29. Party Poker will award 35 players prize packages to the 2010 Oktoberfest worth $75,000 a piece.
The Party Poker Palladium Oktoberfest 2010 Poker Race is comprised of four smaller weekly races (August 2 – 8; August 9 – 15; August 16 – 22; August 23 – 29). Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of each of these weekly promotional periods, in addition to VIP points toward an overall Palladium Oktoberfest leader board.
Players who finish 1st in a given week’s race win $2,000 cash and 1,000 points toward the Oktoberfest overall leader board, and it goes down from there, with payouts in cash and overall PartyPoker Palladium Oktoberfest leader board points to the top 500 finishers. Cash payouts go to the top 100 weekly finishers (down to $25 each) and overall VIP points will be awarded to the top 500 (down to 50 points each).
The 31st through 500th players on the overall PartyPoker Oktoberfest 2010 leader board gain entry into a special Oktoberfest VIP Freeroll in which the last 5 prize packages will be awarded to the top 5 finishers, along with bonus cash prizes ranging from $500 to $1,000.
Each of the $75,000 PartyPoker prize packages to be awarded this August include two tickets to the 2010 Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, hotel accomodations for two nights while you’re both there, VIP treatment, spa access, activities, breakfast and dinner (with an open bar).
