Last Party Poker Premier League IV Qualifier This Weekend: Schedule Changed

The Party Poker Premier League IV Qualifiers that seem to have only just begun are already about to end, with only one Premier League prize package left to awarded. Because of this overwhelming interest in getting into the event, the site has even had to cancel the originally scheduled final qualifier, which had been set for January 17, making this weekend’s PartyPoker Premier League IV Qualifier on January 10 that last one in this series. What’s more, the player cap for the January 10 qualifier has been lowered to just 20 players.

You may remember that PartyPoker had originally planned to give away 16 $9,000 prize packages into the prestigious Premier League event. These packages include a Las Vegas stay from February 7 to 14 to compete in the live televised PartyPoker Premier League IV Playoff Qualifier, where the 16 finalist will be whittled down to one player who will get the last precious seat in the Premier League IV Finals, playing against some of the biggest names in poker.

A second, separate, and unrelated prize will be awarded to one of the 16 players – it could be the playoff winner, it could be one of the other 15 – in the form of a $100,000 sponsorship to play for Party Poker at some of the world’s biggest money live poker events. Helping to make that selection will be the existing members of Team Party Poker, including recent Poker Hall of Fame Inductee, and Stewart Scott, the reigning Aussie Millions Champion. The selection will be based not only on poker performance but on camera appeal as well.
