Party Poker Premier League IV Qualifiers Underway
For only $2, you could play find yourself in Las Vegas playing against some of poker’s finest players, and we’re not talking about the World Series of Poker. We’re talking about the PartyPoker Premier League, the elite of the poker elite.
Qualifiers for the Party Poker Premier League IV have begun, and at stake is a $1.5 million dollar prize and a bonus prize of a $100,000 one-year contract as a PartyPoker sponsored tournament player.
In all, Party Poker will be awarding 16 prize packages worth $9,000 each to the Premier League IV Playoffs in Las Vegas where the finalists in the PartyPoker Premier League Qualifier series will be whittled down to one lucky player, who will face off against 11 of the best poker players on the felt.
The $9,000 playoffs prize package includes the $6,250 seat in the playoffs as well as 7 days of luxury accommodations and $2,000 spending cash. The winner of the playoffs will receive the buy-in, costing $100,000, into the Premier League IV Final, while one of the 16 playoff finalists (maybe the winner, maybe one of the other players) will win the $100,000 sponsorship to represent Party Poker at some of the biggest and most rewarding live poker tournaments in the world.
Last year, J.C. Tran took down the Party Poker Premier League III Final. The Premier League IV Playoffs take place from February 9 – 10, 2010 while the Premier League IV Final takes place February 11 -18.
