The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is now over. This year’s SCOOP has proven to be one of the biggest online poker promotion ever, with millions of dollars in prize money. SCOOP tournaments ran from May 2nd through May 16th 2010.

SCOOP is now the largest online poker tournament anywhere. The 2010 SCOOP had 180 events, over $600,000 in buy ins, 191 countries were represented, with a total prize money of $103,174,675. The main event #38 was high anticipated and the final nine were as follows: cpfactor, toetagu, delaney_kid, Sumpas, Ducku, BradL,jpmetalman, siola, and BongBob. The big winner was toetagu with a staggering $1,162,350 in winnings. Sumpas was 2nd with a cash prize of $851,775 and BradL took third with $627,300 in winnings.

The medium stakes main event was equally well anticipated, with $1,050 buy ins and a guaranteed $3 million. There were accurately 3,675 entrants making the prize pool $3,675,000. The majority were eliminated in day one of the tournament and the remaining 495 players  made it into day two. The big winner was Mr.M.Money with $443,137.50 while second went to copperz0311 with $448,500.00 and third went to Athanasios 9 with $418,000.00 in winnings.

The low buy in was just as strong and entertaining with $109 buy in and a guaranteed prize of 1 million dollars. But with 19,188 players  that created a prize pool worth $1,918,800.00 just about doubled it. All but seventeen were eliminated on the first day and the final seventeen battled it out and the winners that came out on top were midjat with a cash prize of $191,892.59 in first. Second went to Quitti33 who took home $142,586.02 and third was B18GsrR with a prize of $95,940.00
