Poker Stars Latin American Poker Tour Season 3 Schedule Announced

The season 3 schedule of the Latin American Poker Tour has been announced, and it features the already beloved PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, a hallmark of the European Poker Tour, this time to be held from January 4 through 14 in Nassau, the Bahamas.

That is the second event on the LAPT Season 3 schedule, however. The first event of Season 3 will be LAPT Costa Rica in San Jose coming up on November 19 at the Playa Conchal and running through November 22.

Other stops on the third Poker Stars Latin American Poker Tour are:

* Event #3: LAPT Uruguay in Punta del Este February 24 to 27
* Event #4: LAPT Chile in Viña del Mar from March 19 to 23
* Event #5 & the Grand Final: LAPT Argentina in Mar del Plata (date still to be determined)

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has by far the largest direct buy-in, at $10,300, with the LAPT Argentina Grand Final having the second highest buy-in at $5,300. The others are a more moderate $2,700 or $3,700.

Satellite tournaments into the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure are still going on now over at PokerStars, with a freeroll satellite daily. The other satellites into the event start for buy-ins as low as $1.10.

Satellites for any and all Latin American Poker Tour Season 3 events (including the PCA) start for $2.22 cash or 111 Frequent Player Points. There are also STEPS tournament qualifiers into LAPT Season 3 events for $7.50 or 500 FPPs.
