Poker Stars Moves EPT Deauville & Changes EPT Copenhagen Dates

With Season 7 of the European Poker Tour just about to start next week in Tallinn, Estonia, Poker Stars, its sponsor, has announced several schedule changes, most significantly to the EPT Deauville and EPT Copenhagen stops on the tour.

The PokerStars EPT Deauville takes place in Deauville, France, on January 25 – 31. But instead of its originally planned location at Deauville Casino to the Deauville International Centre. The larger space allows for an increased, 1000 person capacity. The tournament also now has an extra day added on, making it a 6-day event instead of a 5-day event.

The PokerStars EPT Copehagen, meanwhile, has had a change of dates. It will now be running February 21 – 26.

With the announcement of these two major changes to the EPT Season 7 schedule, Poker Stars still has yet to announce two more stops, one of which will be taking place October 26 – 31. What’s more, the dates of two popular events on the regular PokerStars European Poker Tour schedule have yet to be set (or at least announced) and those are the EPT San Remo stop and the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

As always, Poker Stars is running around-the-clock satellite tournaments into the various EPT main events. PokerStars EPT satellites are available at all different stakes and include both Sit ‘n’ Go and scheduled MTT style tournaments. PokerStars EPT prize packages include the buy-in for the respective main event, along with accommodations and a bit of spending cash to play with.
