PokerStars Deals 25 Billionth Hand
Just after 05:00 EST on Monday February 16 the world’s leading poker room dealt its 25 billionth hand of poker. It took place on the ‘Susilva’ table that happened to be a $1/$2 limit Omaha Hi/Lo table. The pot was split between players NeonFrost and tupapi777. These two players split the 100k prize and both received their event packages. Only one player was supposed to receive a package, but because the pot was split PokerStars decided to hand out a package to both of them. The package includes entry to the EPT Grand Final, PCA, WSOP and WCOOP Main Event. There were also three other players in the hand that will share another 100k. Players FrtSpkndMn, n47j25s and chris12080 will be counting their lucky stars after they were in the right place at the right time.
All of the Milestone Hands have now been dealt but that doesn’t mean that PokerStars have stopped all of their current promotions. The 25 Billion Bash promotion will continue with PokerStars offering their 25% reload bonus until February 18 at 23:59 ET. This bonus does require you to unlock it by earning a certain amount of Frequent Player Points. This should not deter you however, as this is the most generous bonus that PokerStars have offered in their relatively short history.
The 25 Billion Bash also includes first time depositor’s freerolls. These will continue to run until February 22. If you haven’t already signed up for an account at PokerStars, now is the time as they are setting all kinds of records. In the past week the amount of players online at their poker room has smashed all of their rivals as well as their own peaks.
