Qualify At PokerStars For The 2010 Baltic Festival
The Poker Stars Baltic Festival returns on June 16 running through June 19. As before, this year’s PokerStars Baltic Festival will take place at the Swissotle in Tallinn, Estonia.
As always, Poker Stars is giving it’s players all the chances they can get to play in the 2010 PokerStars Baltic Festival for free. Baltic Festival Qualifiers are going on now over at Poker Stars, seeding players into the weekly finals where the Baltic Festival Tallin main event prize packages will be awarded. Options of daily qualifiers to enter include freerolls and cash tournaments with EU1.10 and higher buy-ins.
The winners of these prize packages will receive not only the buy-in into the main event, but five nights at the Swissotle along with EU350 to spend as you like.
Last year’s Baltic Festival was so popular that this year they raised the main event buy-in from EU1100 to EU1500. Players can also whet their chips with a EU400 NL Holdem events and an EU250 PL Omaha event. The festival will also feature ample cash games starting on June 15 and running ongoingly for the full length of the festival.
In the 2009 Baltic Festival, 307 competitors from 24 different countries battled for a share of an EU300000 prize pool. The winner of the 2009 Baltic Festival main event was Thomas Partridge of the UK who received more than EU75000 for his accomplishment. In the high-rollers event, Finland’s Ville Wahlbeck took top honors, and American rising online poker superstar Shaun Deeb took runner-up.
