Time to Get Ready for Hollywood Poker’s Grand Series of Poker III

Hollywood Poker is hosting the third installment of its annual Grand Series of Poker – making this the GSOP 3. And with all the land-based tournaments going on these days, online poker players will be relieved to hear that the GSOP III is a fully online poker tournament.

The 2009 Grand Series of Poker III is comprised of 15 exciting online poker events scheduled from September 27th through October 11th, plus plus the Grand Slam Final (aka the “main event”) on October 18th. The guaranteed prize pool at stake is over $3 million. Hollywood Poker Grand Series of Poker III events include not only No Limit Holdem, but games like Pot Limit Omaha and Fixed Limit Holdem as well. There will be shorthanded games, deepstack games, and on October 11, the $525 buy-in, $750,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament.

Hollywood Poker is running satellite qualifiers now for free entry into the biggest deal of the Hollywood Poker GSOP 3 Grand Slam Final. Buy-ins for these winning opportunities start at a low $10 + $1. A Last Chance Qualifiers is also being held on October 18, right before the Grand Slam Final is about to get underway.

Players looking for little heavier action at this year’s HollywoodPoker GSOP III can contribute $1,000 extra into a Grand Series of Poker Side Bet pot, to be paid out separately from the regular $3.1 million prize pool.

And there will be a Leaderboard keeping track of all the top players’ progress throughout the series, with top prizes of free Grand Slam Seats.
