Titan Poker ECOOP V Satellites Running Now

The fifth Titan Poker European Championship of Online Poker is almost here, beginning November 23, 2009, and boasting a guaranteed prize pool of $4.55 million.

The schedule is made up of 14 events covering the gamut of poker games, including Pot Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Card Stud, with Turbo and Six-Max tourneys as well. All of this, of course, is leading up to the Main Event, a $1,580 event with a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool taking place December 6.

Besides the main event, another two of the other big highlights for ECOOP V take place on Days 7 and 8 (November 29 and 30). They’re the $500,000 guaranteed events – the first with a $535 buy-in and the second with a $2,600 buy-in. The next biggest prize pool down from there is $350,000, being awarded on Day 4, November 26, for an $800 buy-in. The whole 2009 series kicks off with a $250,000 guaranteed event for a $215 buy-in.

As of September 21, satellites awarding free entries into ECOOP V events have officially commenced at Titan Poker, and all poker sites on the iPoker Network.

The Titan Poker European Championship of Online Poker originated in December of 2007 when the site awarded $2.5 million over the course of 10 days. Since then the TitanPoker ECOOP has awarded more than $7 million. ECOOP IV ran this past summer with a player going by the name of Kaishi wining the $330,000 main event first prize.
