Titan Poker Launches Monthly Million

Next month – September 2009 – Titan Poker and the rest of the sites on the iPoker Network will be running a million dollar promotion called, appropriately, the Monthly Million (haven’t we heard that name somewhere before…ahem Party Poker?). This upcoming Titan Poker Monthly Million event will be the first in what is to become an ongoing poker series of the same name for the site and network, with its inaugural kick-off on Setpember 13, at 18:00 GMT (1 pm ET).

The buy-in for the Titan Poker Monthly Million is admittedly steep $535, but the guaranteed prize pool is $1 million (and chances are, enough players will enter to push that number up still higher).

Of course, TitanPoker isn’t going to leave out the low-budget players from the competition. There are plenty of online qualifiers for the event with buy-ins starting at $1.10. The qualifiers at that lowest of buy-ins, BTW, take place Monday through Saturday at 17:15 GMT (12:15 pm ET).

If you want to get in on this game, you’d better sign up fast, because there’s a cap of 6,000 entrants, and those seats are filling up.

This past June, Titan Poker awarded $1.5 million in the fourth running of the European Championship of Online Poker. The site also runs a $250,000 guaranteed tournament every week on Sunday, with an abundance of satellites and qualifiers throughout the preceding week for getting in on the fun and excitement on the cheap.

The second Titan Poker Monthly Million is set for October 11.
