Full Tilt Poker Signs Lacey Jones

Full Tilt Poker has just announced the signing of model, poker player, event hostess Lacey Jones, just a few weeks after she announced that she was leaving Absolute Poker. Lacey Jones has made quite a name for herself as both a top-notch poker event host and a top-notch poker player.

After several years playing poker with an AP sponsorship, Lacey Jones revealed in late May that that relationship was nearing an end. It seems there was no provocation or aninosity between Jones and AP, but rather that the two had just decided to go their separate ways. That’s good for Full Tilt Poker and its players.

Now FullTilt gets to enjoy the upsurge in traffic that comes from having Lacey Jones on the team, and Full Tilt Poker players get to enjoy the new competition, including lots of fresh fish, as well as opportunities to play against Lacey Jones in Full Tilt cash games and multi-table tournaments.

Currently, Lacey Jones is playing in the 2010 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, Nevada. In Day One of the $1,000 Ladies No Limit Hold’em Championship Lacey Jones took herself to 74th place, and sitting pretty for Day Two, given that 2010 WSOP Event #22 pays out the top 117 places, making her a good shot for some sort of cash in. Unfortunately, she got knocked out in Day 2 along with Liv Boeree, Karina Jett, and Michelle Lewis.

Starting this July, Lacey Jones will be the presenter at the Full Tilt Poker Doubles Poker Championship.
