Meet the Newest Team UB Member: Brandon Cantu
Ultimate Bet Poker has announced that Brandon Cantu will be the latest addition to the 10-year-old poker site’s esteemed Team UB. That places him not only alongside official UB Cardroom Correspondents Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth, but also has him joining other members of Team UB, namely Antonio Esfandiari (aka “The Magician”), Dave Ulliott (aka “The Devilfish”), Jim Worth (aka the “Krazy Kanuck”), Jack McClelland, John Vorhaus, Russ Hamilton (1994 WSOP Main Event Winner), and the most recent new member prior to Cantu’s induction, Roxci Rhodes (appearing on the GSN TV series Poker Royale, Celebrities vs Poker Pros).
What has Brandon Cantu done to deserve such an honor. Lots, as it turns out! He has accomplished a Top 10 finish in no less than 14 major high-stakes poker events, spanning both land-based poker tournaments and online poker tournaments. Among those accolades:

* Winner – 2006 Ultimate Poker Challenge
* Sixth – 2008 World Poker Tour Championship event
* Fifth – 2008 Five Diamond World Poker Classic
