The 2010 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker tournament came to an end at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, California, with former Wall Street trader Andy Frankenberger being declared the winner.

The $5,000 buy-in event attracted 462 players to the L.A. Bicycle Casino. The entire tournament took 5 tough days and the final table took almost 12 hours to play itself out, and at its end, at after 2:00 in the morning last Wednesday, August 25, 2010, Frankenberger not only won the $750,000 first prize money but also a seat worth $25,000 in the upcoming WPT Championship and of course the coveted bronze Wild Bill Hickok trophy. Runner up Kyle Wilson took home $370,000 for his efforts and Tom Lee took home the third place priace of $174,000.

Riding the chip lead for a long time (Days 2, 3, and 4 of the 5-day event to be exact) until he suffered a near devastating losing streak, it was a rocky ride to the finish line for Frankenberger, but he made it, upping his total tournament winnings in 2010 alone to more than $952,000.

Other players at the 2010 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker final table were Frank (Franco)  Brunetti, who finished in sixth for $63,000; Jared Jaffeee, who finished in fifth for $86,000; Tom “Titan Tom” Braband, who finished in fourth for $109,000.
