PKR Poker Forming 2010 WSOP Road To Vegas League
PKR Poker has started its 2010 World Series of Poker satellite series, and they’re calling it the PKR Road To Vegas League.
With the PKR Road To Vegas League, PKR Poker is giving away seven prize packages they’re calling the WSOP Experience. The PKR Poker 2010 WSOP Experience prize package is valued at $4,000 and besides the buy-in to the braceleted 2010 WSOP events also includes travel expenses, five nights luxury hotel accomodations, and spending cash, as well as an invitation to an exclusive PKR Poker party.
As its name suggests, the Road To Vegas League promotion is structured as a league based competition comprised of 22 events. The contest runs over the course of eleven weeks, with a $10 + $2 tournament running twice each week, once each on Tuesdays and Thursdays, each awarding the top 100 finishers a share of 45,000 League points. Though the days and times, buy-ins and prizes are all the same, the individual satellites do vary in playing style, with both No Limit and Fixed Limit games, both Hold’em and Omaha, with several being 6-max, rebuy/addon, or deep stacked events.
A leader board will then be kept monitoring players as they progress through the contest, accumulating League points. After the twenty-two Road To Vegas League tournaments are complete, the player atop the board wins a 2010 WSOP Experience prize package immediately while those players in the top 10 or 50 or 100, respectively, get shots at winning those additional six WSOP Experience prize packages up for grabs.
