Win a Piece of Ivey, Courtesy of Full Tilt Poker
As of last Thursday, October 8, Full Tilt Poker has a new promotion going that stars the one and only November Niner and Full Tilt Poker pro Phil Ivey. The contest is aptly called “Piece of Ivey” and the gist of it is exactly how it sounds. Perform well in the Piece of Ivey competition and win a piece of Phil Ivey’s winnings at the November 7 running of the 2009 World Series of Poker main event final table.
The Piece of Ivey promotion is basically a raffle. And the way you get raffle tickets is the same way you earn FTPs at the site – by playing in real-money games and qualifying tournaments at the site during the promotional period.
Come November 6, the day before the big globally broadcast event, Full Tilt will hold the raffle – or, rather, the raffles, as there are 3 in all.
First is the 5% of Ivey drawing, where nine players will get a spot in a Sit ‘n Go final in which a prize pool equivalent to five percent of Ivey’s take is at stake.
Second is the 1% of Ivey drawing, where the winners compete against each other in a $50K freeroll final in which one percent of Ivey’s take is at stake, place an added $50K courtesy of Full Tilt.
Third are Daily Cash Draws with more than six-hundred cash awards given out over the month, totaling $150K.
The various freeroll finals to these contests will take place the same day as the eagerly anticipated 2009 WSOP main event final table, November 7. In total, FullTilt’s Piece of Ivey promotion promises to give away 6% of Phil Ivey’s 2009 WSOP main event take with Full Tilt Poker adding an additional $150K to the pot.
