Visa Poker Sites

Many online poker sites claim to accept Visa credit cards, but only a select few have high deposit approval success rates.  If you are an international (non-U.S.) poker player, then virtually every online poker site accepts your Visa card.  But if you are an American, it is more difficult to find a poker site that accepts Visa credit cards.  There are only three Visa poker sites that have very high Visa card approval rates:

It does not hurt to try your Visa card at any online poker site.  All poker sites accept Visa card deposits greater than 1% of the time, so unless your Visa card issuer charges you for declined transactions, it is worth it to at least try your Visa before trying a different poker room or deposit method.  The unfortunate truth though, is that you have a very small chance of a successful Visa deposit at most online poker sites. Alternative Deposit Methods if Your Visa is Not Accepted

If your Visa credit card does is declined at any of the Visa poker sites above, you do have other deposit options to consider.  I have ranked these Visa card deposit alternatives according to ease of use and effectiveness for U.S. poker players.

1. eCheck – Instant and free of charge.  Otherwise known as an electronic check, eChecks are the simplest and most reliable form of payment for most U.S. poker sites like PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
2. Wire Transfer – Almost every online poker site accepts wire transfers.  It is a very simple process, but you are usually charged a fee of about $20-$30.

International Visa Online Poker Deposits

If you have a Visa credit card or debit card that was issued to you from outside the United States or from a non-U.S. bank, then your Visa deposit should work 100% of the time.  The only issue that makes Visa poker deposits difficult is related to U.S. laws for American banks and payment processors.
