  • Calculate win % of a specific hand vs. a range of hands.

Even the best players in the world cannot put an opponent on two specific cards while playing a hand. This is why putting a player on a range of hands is so important. Let me give you an example to show you what I mean:

A tight, straight-forward player raises under the gun. You know he would only raise 88+ and AJ+ from this position. This is the range of hands you can put your opponent on.

You can now use PokerStove to see how often your hand will win against the range that you put your opponent on. Versus 88+ and AJ+ the following hands win X% of the time.
