Boku87 Turns $100 into $10,000 in 15 Days

The world of online poker has recently seen perhaps one of the all time great prop bets. Player Boku87 who plays online Poker at PokerStars took up a bet that he couldn’t turn $100 into $10,000 withing 15 days. There was a catch though as there were certain rules he had to abide by.

Firstly it must be noted that he couldn’t play anything other than SNG’s. Secondly, he could only play SNGs to a maximum buy-in of just $16. He couldn’t play in 90 man and 180 man SNGs either. He had to run a webcam the whole time that he played as well so that there was no chance that he could get other people to play for him while he slept.

It ended up that he collected bets totalling $40,000 that were placed into a PokerStars escrow account. He was getting 3-1 on his money so if he won he received a whopping $120,000 from the prop bets.

Needless to say he did up winning the prop bet. He was filmed playing up to 51 tables at once. His bankroll did take a couple of hits around the $1k mark, but he powered through by cutting back to 30 tables. He played predominantly 18 man and 45 man SNGs to reach the goal and win the prop bet.
PokerStars helped out the losing bettors by offering a 10k freeroll to them. Together, PokerStars and Boku87 have created a stir in the online poker world. This amazing prop bet has truly been one of the most unique events in the history of online poker.
